I have a Dell Inspirion that runs Windows Vista. Yesterday I got a box telling me to install an update to Adobe Acrobat. I did. Now suddenly I get a blank square and a little symbol where videos should be, and things that downloaded and played for me two days ago suddenly won't. I tried to fix it with internet tools. I tried to reset the registry several times, and each time I get a message that the reset was unsuccessful. What am I doing wrong?

    Hi

What Service Pack is your Vista at?
Which Browser you using to view the videos and is all other webpages ok, its just video?

What Internet tools and how did you reset the registry, by what method or application?

I take it this is online videos in the likes of YouTube etc? the I would try this, uninstall Flash completly with this Flash removal tool (the Windows version) and only uninstall with all browser windows closed, then run CCleaner and its cleaner and registry tools, run the registry one until nothing is listed for removal.

Then re-install Flash from HERE but install with all broswer windows closed.
