Video in Firefox does not play

Good morning geeks,
I am running XP Home SP3, and video in Firefox for such pages as Huffington Post, Onion Network News has not only stopped playing, the video screen does not even show up. If I "View in IE", everything works fine. I tested all plug ins and add on's and all are current. I reinstalled the Firefox flash player plug in, no go. I don't believe this is a video codec problem as all primarily video apps still work OK. Any other ideas?

 

Try restarting your PC. This may fix it.

 

I am guessing a security or spam setting, give the FireFox forum a try.
