so im not real good with math
but if I go to the casino and play video poker(jacks or better) and I follow the strategy I found here)
then I will likely make money?

is that right? why am I so relunctant?

Gambling a mugs game, the house will always win in the end, you may have a random win but the hook is that you will continue betting and thus loosing!

Always good to credit the original source of a theory.

I also know cliches/platitudes that will not answer my posted question:

Cause the house always wins. Play long enough, you never change the stakes. The house takes you. Unless, when that perfect hand comes along, you bet and you bet big, then you take the house.

on a long enough timeline the survival rate for everyone drops to zero///
