Video problem on Laptop

This could be a duplicate but I couldn't find my prior post. I am getting a red/blue transparent type shadow on my laptop screen. It is a Dell Studio 1535 w/ATI mobility radeon hd 3400 series running Windows Vista Home Premium. Could this be a driver, video card proplem or possibly a monitor going away? Thank you in advance for any help!:confused
