video problem

OK ! I assume that I am missing or have a corrupted codec. My video looks distorted & multi colored. & I keep getting this little note pad Icon on my desktop titled ( dxva_sig ).

I am assuming that it is an incompatibility issue with my video card.

windows XP pro
radeon 9600 SE
Biostar mobo
1024 Ram
150 g HD
win media player 10

Can anyone tell me what is causing this for sure & how to fix it ? If possible even provide a link to an updated codec or something ?

Any help would be greatly appreciated !

Thanks man ! it helped with some of the video issues. But for some reason still isn't fixing all of them. Looks like an AVI codec is giving me issues as well. I did have an all in one klite codec pack @ one time.. but now doesn't seem to work. ohh well. I guess I'll keep looking. but @least the notepad is gone
