Video to Xbox360

I am trying to upload videos from utorrent to my xbox, i have used formatfactory to get them to the right type of file, but when i get it onto the xbox it gives me a status code. I contacted xbox but they were no help as per usual. It is more of a computer thing and i thought u guys might be able to help thanks

 

I am no Major Geek Techy as these guys are good but I thought I would buzz in on this one since all we do is watch movies off the XBOX.

There is two ways to do it, use a media centre (Windows Media Centre or TVersity) and network it. We found the issue being they couldn't find the right codec.

or use a USB key. Make sure you have XBOX live (silver, just the connection) because you will need to get the codec for the files. Load a movie on the the USB Key, go to the dashboard, Media, Videos - Hit X to change source of Video and select portable device and pick a movie, then it will prompt you to download the codec. Do it and voila!

We found a way to network the XBOX to the PC but you needed a hardwire connection to your internet since wireless was too slow. If you browse the net you can probably find it, we did it 2 years ago so I am not much help here.

Is the status code for Window Media Center? Maybe elaborate on that - I can be a bit more help.
