    Hey Guys,

I bought my GF6600GT a while ago, and I cannot find the box for it, but I was wandering how I can find out what brand name it is so I can check for a BIOS for it, I don't really want to open the case up and check it out, is there a software tool that would be able to tell me?

I thought it may have been an XFX 6600GT, but I checked their site and they don't have a model in a RED PCB AGP like mine, my cards box had a women on the front, a green box with graphics, hmmmm why oh why did I throw the box out

wrong, get nibtor and then tell it to load your current bios. then go over the the farthest tab and check manufacture.

to do that u first have to load the BIOS onto a floppy then open it with nibitor; as far as i know u cant access the VGA BIOS from within windows

yes you can, try it if you dont belive me. I make custom bios's and I use Nibitor to save the bios with out the hassle.
