Vipre Antivirus Software?

I have Vipre Antivirus software on my computer, and it was given to me from a friend as he bought a lifetime program that was able to go onto 5 machines. I have never heard anything about it on the sites that compare it to anything else, so, am wondering as to how it compares to the most notable programs out there. Some times I do wonder if anything is getting through it. Thanks

According to both Test Results linked to, Vipre seems pretty good.

Thanks all for the responses, answered my question. Sorry I was a little late in posting back as I was busy elsewhere. Sexyandy81 good graphs, you too Eldon. plodr, as I stated Vipre didn't cost me a dime, and its for life, thats one reason I used it. Also has malware protection too.
