viral problems

    I'm trying to fix a frinds computer, 32 bit vista.

    one symptom that really stands out to me is that there seems to be problems with the firewall. Despite the fact that I've enabled the programs to go through, and I've tried disabling the firewall, programs such as Spybot, etc cannot connect to updates b/c they "are not being let through the firewall". even though i have the firewall disabled.

    attached are the logs after running the MGtools, any help would be appreciated!

    If you have problems downloading on the problem PC, download the tools and the manual updates for SUPERAntiSpyware, Malwarebytes and Spybot ( links are given in the READ & RUN ME) onto another PC and then burn to a CD. Then copy them to the problem PC. You will have to skip getting updates if (and only if) your internet connection does not work. Yes you could use a flash drive too but flash drives are writeable and infections can spread to them.

    If you can not update, attach the logs without updating until we can get that worked out.
