Virtual Box And Usb.

Hey guys,
I've been fighting with this for a few hours now. I have a virtual machine setup with Virtual Box (ver. 5.2.18) on my Windows 10 computer. ( I do have the extension pack installed for ver. 5.2.18)
I have a copy of Windows 7 Professional installed on the VB and I can not seem to get any USB sticks I try to be recognized by the VB. I went through the settings of the VB to the USB tab and I have the "Enable USB Controller" box checked and "USB 3.0 (xHCI) controller" selected since it is a USB 3.0 port I'm using. I have a filter created with the USB stick added, but when I start the VB it loads then tries to install the USB drivers saying that it wasn't successful and that the USB stick has malfunctioned. I've tried multiple different ones. ( Outside of the VB they all open just fine) I'm not sure what I should look into next.
Any help would be appreciated.

Did you install Win7 drivers for the hardware in your VB?

 

I will look into that, it wanted to update a bunch of things after the install finished, but normally ( I don't know if it being in a VB makes a difference) I've never had issues with Win 7 and USBs before that's why I asked here.

I loaded it back up and it works now, I'm not sure what ended up happening.
