Hi guys, I have a question relating my configuration of virtual memory, it's set up as costum, but some time ago I did a ram upgrade to 4gb, and the max is set to custom, could it be that I'm not maximizing this, what value should I put?
Much appreciated, I'm asking this because lately my computer has been kinda of slow and it even breaks in such simple tasks as watching a youtube video at 360p p.e.

    Would appreciate your help.

Your screenshot shows the recommended Page File as being 4606 MB. Yours is set to 3070 MB — considerably lower. I always set my Page File minimum size to 1.5 times the amount of RAM I have and the maximum to twice the amount of RAM I have (ie. 2GB of RAM = 3072MB minimum Page File and 4096MB maximum). Since you have 4GB of RAM, set the minimum to 6144MB and maximum to 8192MB.

The recommended size is based on installed physical memory, iirc, not based on actual usage, therefore it's pretty close to useless for estimating real-world virtual memory (paging/page/swap) file sizing.

If you're running 32-bit Windows, the maximum size is 4092MB (again, iirc) <-- this is what I'd set it to for max., try setting it 100MB --> 4092MB first, that way, you may see a readout of what Windows is really using in the way of paging file space.

(I have 3x (fixed/fixed/variable) page files set on Windows 7x64 over 3x disks, currently using 954MB, higher than I've seen it before - but I have tested some ram-guzzling websites during the current session - about 5.5GB memory used by my browser+Flash at one point!)

What is the D:? If it's a real drive, rather than a partition, you could add a paging file there.

If you gave us full hardware specs plus browser/version + Flash version and your usual usage pattern, we may be able to advise further.
