I recently installed the latest version of doPDF and when I rebooted and discovered that the network icon on the taskbar by the system tray was missing even though the space was there.I uninstalled it,reinstalled it but deselecting the usage\statistic apps and still the network icon was missing.

I am running win 7 pro 64-bit os. In the attached image on the right you can see the missing network icon just to the right of the speaker icon.On the left is what it look likes now atm.

I did a system restore which did the trick and installed another virtual pdf driver called bullzip.Same problem with the invisible network icon which couldn't be selected. but I discovered that in the Notification Area Icons window in the control panel was an entry for a file called gui.exe and underneath it had the words "Creating a pdf File..."

I did another system restore after uninstalling bullzip and although I haven't rebooted I am concerned that the network icon may disappear when I start up my laptop the next time...I did do a scan to see if any files had been left behind but nothing except in the temp folder.

Is there an older copy of the bullzip virtual pdf drivers that won't interfere or install anything system tray or notification area icons related.

    Thanks
