    Before I begin I would just like to mention that I am a very computer challenged person and I hope that this won't cause to many headaches to the kind people here at MajorGeeks, we all appreciate what you do (and for no money how do you do it~!? ;) )

    Okay so 3 days ago I downloaded the Megaupload toolbar to get a happy hour premium account.... Oh man. Anyway I ran to these forums and followed to the best of my ability the step by step read and run guide (great job on that by the way) I must stress again that I am very computer challenged and if I horribly messed up a step I wouldn't know it if my life depended on it :-o

    Everything went pretty smoothly with the exception of ComboFix (ran into a weird snag, everything got completed but I'm not sure if it worked like it was supposed to, a pop-up said that the application wasnt valid with Win32 and it rebooted the computer before it gave me the Log) it did give me the log though so who knows?

    that was the only real snag, but I think I still have a problem, though it might not be related to malware, whenever I drag and drop the selection tool that selects multiple icons on the desktop, the box made out of dotted lines will freeze in place. I can make them go away by dragging a window over it though.
    I'm gonna attach the logs now (if I can figure out how :confused) so that you guys can tell me what I've messed up on (I'm sure I have at least once) :(:-o:(
    Also my desktop is cluttered I promise I'll work on that:p
    thanks again so much!

    Let's get started, toransilver.

    The below fixes are specific to your problem and should only be used for issue(s) on this machine. Also, please do not install any other software while we are still working with you unless instructed. Once we have given you the all clean and final instructions you will be free to install what you want.

    ** You don't have an anti-virus program installed. After completing the following steps -- install one immediately.

    Are these all game related?

    Step 1:
    If you have not already done so, please disable the Guest account in User accounts.

    Step 2:
    Run C:\MGtools\analyse.exe by double clicking on it (Note: if using Vista, don't double click, use right click and select Run As Administrator). This is really HijackThis (select Do a system scan only) and select the following lines but DO NOT CLICK FIX until you exit all browser sessions including the one you are reading in right now:
    After clicking Fix, exit HJT.

    Step 3:
    Now we need to use ComboFix to remove some malware.
    • Make sure that combofix.exe that you downloaded while doing the READ & RUN ME is on your Desktop but Do not run it!
      • If it is not on your Desktop, the below will not work.
    • Close/disable all anti virus and anti malware programs so they do not interfere with the running of ComboFix. *Remember to re-start them before coming back online.
    • Open Notepad and copy/paste the text in the below code box into it (make sure you scroll all the way down in the code box to get all lines selected ):
    Code:
    KILLALL::

    File::
    c:\windows\system32\FgMnnqss.ini
    c:\windows\system32\hOpsDcdd.ini
    c:\windows\ujenubes.dll
    c:\windows\ozeyaxubexuyiru.dll
    c:\windows\afujebuqag.dll
    c:\windows\Jtocimifetel.dll
    c:\program files\temp01
    C:\WINDOWS\system32\FgMnnqss.ini

    Folder::
    c:\windows\E5431FB5B3EB46C88275F6447131C98A.TMP
    • Save the above as CFscript.txt and make sure you save it to the same location (should be on your Desktop) as ComboFix.exe
    • At this point, you MUST EXIT ALL BROWSERS NOW before continuing!
    • You should have both the ComboFix.exe and CFScript.txt icons on your Desktop.
      If it asks you to overide the previous file with the same name, click YES.
    • Now use your mouse to drag CFscript.txt on top of ComboFix.exe
      http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v666/sUBs/CFScriptB-4.gif
    • Follow the prompts.
    • When it finishes, a log will be produced named c:\\combofix.txt
    • I will ask for this log below

    Note:

    Do not mouseclick combofix's window while it is running. That may cause it to stall.

    Step 4:
    Run Ccleaner

    Step 5:
    Click here to select and install one of our recommended free anti-virus programs. Immediately update to the latest definitions.

    Step 6:
    Run the C:\MGtools\GetLogs.bat file by double clicking on it (Note: if using Vista, use right click and select Run As Administrator).

    Then attach the below logs to your next reply:
    • C:\MGlogs.zip
    • C:\combofix.txt

    Make sure you tell me if you had any problems running this procedure and give a description of how things are working now!

    Thanks!
    dr.m
