virus cannot be deleted nor quarantine

    Good day to all. yesterday i used norton 2003 live update to update my virus definition files after updating my definition files suddenly a message appears
    norton cannot fix it. i tried to quarantine but to no avail nor cannot be deleted. what should i do? thanks

    windows 98
    pentium 4 1.6
    128 mb ram

    cannot find the name of the virus. i cant even view the reports
    in my anti virus
