virus help.....

..I just downloaded zone alarm firewall from limewire.......

and well like limewire usually does to everyone i got a virus.....

its just lags my comp and like its not letting my get to places to try and get rid of it...does anyone know of some software i can download on my laptop to try and get rid of whatever is screwing my desktop up.....
thanks....i'ce got norton but coincidentally its been messing up lately...by the way it wont let me on the net thats why i doing this on my laptop

..u said go to tht website to run a scan but i cant connect to the net through my desktop(i can on laptop though...and trasfer via usb) and i cant get into the control panel....thanks for the help....it just wont open the add/remove part in control panel....it laggs really badly

 

In the first instance have you tried using system restore in XP (presuming that is the o/s you are using).
