virus help

    hi, i was just wondering if my norton ant virus and spy bot s&d will find all the virus' (spyware, adware as well) on my computer.. because after running both of them im fairly sure i still have more on my computer... any ideas of what i can do?

    No they will not necessarily find everything.

    Please follow our standard cleaning procedures which are necessary for us to provide you support. Also there are steps included for installing, running, and posting HijackThis logs as attachments.

    Please follow the steps below:

    - Run ALL the steps in this Sticky thread READ & RUN ME FIRST Before Asking for Support

    Make sure you check version numbers and get all updates.

    - Very Important: Make sure you tell us the results from running the tutorial...was anything found? Were you unable to complete any of the scans?...Were you unable to download any of the tools?...Did you do the on-line scans as suggested? etc.


    After doing ALL of the above you still have a problem make sure you have booted to normal mode and run the steps in the below link to properly use HijackThis and attach a log:

    sorry, didnt realize there was a sticky i was in a rush. anyways, i followed all those steps and know ill post my HJT log just to be safe, here it is:

    Please READ and actually follow ALL the steps in the the previous message and in the sticky thread.

    There are multiple steps to follow, you also should be ATTACHING BitDefender and PandaActiveScan logs. And when the READ & RUN ME has been fully completed, HijackThis logs must also be an attachment to you message (also covered in the instructions). It must not be posted inline. Also note that the first step (step 0) of the sticky recommends uninstalling Messenger Plus (which you do have). Do you plan on keeping this?
