virus/malware/spyware

    I used malwarebytes to remove an infection,lost everything on computer,if I search for stuff in the start menu,it finds everything. I have no shortcuts,no pictures, no Internet, and nothing will update. Cant even turn on automatic updates from Microsoft.

    cant attach the log,but the malware is Gen:Variant.Kazy.16058(virus), thats what F-secure is calling it anyway,pretty sure I got it from a java update! Got rid of the virus, now need to figure out how to get my Windows XP back to normal.
