Some days ago i got a virus on my computer and now i can't uninstall/install any program. I've tried to remove but the windows keeps saying the program might already be uninstalled and if i wish to remove it from the list.

Here's the error. (Happens with all programs)

    Error when opening CCleaner

Can't open the Msconfig thing it says the winndows could not locate and to make sure the path is right.

It also happens with the System Restaur, the RootRepeal and HijackThis installer. I get this errors when opening the programs you listed on READ & RUN

I get a different error when trying to open the Malware Bits & Bites installer:

    And with MGTools

    (sorry for the big screenshots)

I do know something about removing malware but this never happened to me before. I'm hoping there's another way other than formating. Thanks.

    Welcome to Major Geeks!

I'm sorry but this is primarily an English speaking forum. Can you please translate the error message you received when running Malwarebytes and MGtools into English? Also did you have UAC disabled and did you reboot after disabling?

Also have you tried to run scans in safe boot mode?

Did you look to see if C:\MGlogs.zip was created anyway?

Hi no but i have a folder called MgTools here are the screenshots:

I also can't get access to control panel but there's a file called DisableUAC.reg should i open it to disable UAC?

I tried safe mode and i could install Ccleaner (ran it and fixed the registry) , Hijackthis and RootRepeal. I fixed the google entrys and the no file thing but strangely now everytime i do a system scan only the hijackthis only shows like 4 entrys and if i do a scan saving a log it gets me the same log.

The errors reported by MB and MGTools were "ShellExecuteCode failed; code 2. The system could not find the specied path." and "Windows could not localte regedit.exe. Make sure you typed correctly the name and try again." (not a perfect translaction but you get the point).

Please, no more screen shots unless requested. We know what is in the MGtools folder. What are you saying "no" to? Are you saying you did not disable UAC and reboot? If so, then you cannot run MGtools until you do.

Yes you can double click on the disableUAC.reg file and allow it to be added to the registry and hopefully this will work.

We specifically stated not to do anything to the registry with CCleaner. We stated to only clean temp files.

Don't know what you are referring to or what you are fixing but you are not following our instructions and that is all you should be doing as stated in the READ & RUN ME>

    Does the C:\Windows\regedit.exe file exist?
