Virus or not

Greets,

My AVG and Trend Micro House Call gives me a clean bill of health but running the Kaspersky online scan tells me I have 1 virus and 6 infected files but does not tell me what the virus is.

Is this a mis-id by Kaspersky or are the others missing what it is finding?

Unless you give us supporting data in the form of a log! We cannot answer your question. See the below link and instructions.

Running Kaspersky Online Scanner - Save the log and attach it to your message.

How many antivirus programs do you have installed? Do not count online scanners.

Ran Kaspersky to get the log but today it reported a clean system.

I only have the AVG free version installed but once a month I go to the Trend Micro web site and I run the online Housecall scanner. Yesterday I noticed the Kaspersky online scanner here and decided to run it, when it showed a virus I ran the others. Since everything is reporting clean today I have to assume yesterday was a glitch.

That's quite possible or something else has fixed it without you knowing it.
