Virus Scan Message

    Don't know which dept to send this too. I have done a couple of full virus scans with avast and keep getting this notification, "DNS Device vulnerable to attacks" contact netgear. I have no idea what to do. When I try to contact netgear there is no way of getting a message with question to them. To my knowledge anyway. I have a netgear night hawk router. Is that what a DNS device is? Please advise.

    A web search of this notice suggests that your modem/router needs a firmware update. You should contact NETGEARS customer support => techsupport.security@netgear(dot)com via email.

    I sent email to Netgear on Nov 1 and I am still waiting for a reply. Any advice? I thought they were a reputable business to deal with?
