:( My mouse is moving on it's own. I just reformated the damned thing yesterday. I reinstalled everything I use. I've run, Norton, McAfee, Spybot, Adaware and a few others. I also ran Panda which totally crashed everything. I had to backup my files in safemode. So I reformated, and everything worked great yesterday and most of today and then it started again. Today I ran Norton, McAfee and SpyBot. I have a wireless optical mouse. My friend said that it might be the problem. I unplugged it and I still saw it moving around. If the mouse is messed up will it have a delayed reaction? I'm ready to pull out my hair.

Please read the announcement and sticky threads. HJT logs should only be posted when requested and then they must be attachments to your message. And then HJT must also be installed and run properly.

Your Mouse problem could be a hardware problem. Try a wired mouse.

You do have some malware! Please follow our standard cleaning procedure below.

    - Run ALL the steps in this Sticky thread READ ME FIRST BEFORE ASKING FOR SUPPORT: Basic Spyware, Trojan And Virus Removal

Make sure you check version numbers and get all updates.

    - Very Important: Make sure you tell us the results from running the tutorial...was anything found? Were you unable to complete any of the scans?...Were you unable to download any of the tools?...Did you do the on-line scans as suggested? etc.

After doing ALL of the above you still have a problem, boot into normal mode and make sure you follow these directions:

    - Download HijackThis 1.99.1

    - Unzip the hijackthis.exe file to a folder you create named C:\Program Files\HJT

    - Do NOT run Hijack This from the Desktop, a temp folder, or a sub-folder of C:\Documents and Settings, or choose to run it directly from the downloaded ZIP file.

    - Before running HijackThis: You must close each of the following:your web browser, e-mail client, instant messenger, and programs like notepad, wordpad, MS Word etc. And any other unnecessary running programs.

    - Run HijackThis and save your log file.

    - Post your log as an ATTACHMENT to your next message. (Do NOT copy/paste the log into your post).

Please read the directions I gave you for installing and running HJT again. In particular:

    - Do NOT run Hijack This from the Desktop, a temp folder, or a sub-folder of C:\Documents and Settings, or choose to run it directly from the downloaded ZIP file.

You are running it from the ZIP file.

Similarly you are running Stinger from a temp location

    C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\My Documents\Tools\stinger.exe

While not a big deal this is not a good place to install applications and stinger should not be running now. It should have been finish long ago while you where in safe mode.

Also C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe should not be running!

However, none of the above matters right now because of what I say below!

On further checking, the item thought to be malware ( ShowWnd.exe ) is not malware. It is part of your Chicony keyboard. Your log is clean of malware. I still suspect that your problems are hardware or driver related.
