Virus won't allow internt access

My laptop recently started acting up. I cannot access the internet. I either get no internet connection or limited connection. I have been told it was a virus from limewire.
My laptop is a Samsung Q430 with i5 core processor, windows 7. I thought I still had the Mcafee protection trial since I just got this computer but apparently it went out of date.
I put webroot antivirus with spy sweeper on my computer from a disc but it didn't find anything, but then it was not able to fully download since i have no internet.
I cannot access the internet in safemode with networking and I have deleted limewire.
I have ran a recovery (not the complete one where it deletes everything from C) but that did not work.
Please help!
