I am having a problem with my computer, and I believe that it is a virus. When I booted my computer I could not get on the Internet, and it was doing weird things like I could not close problems, could not use ctrl/alt/delete, it erased all previous restore points and left the one only 1 date Jan 10th. I started to run a full scan using Nortons, it stated that it found 3 in my documents area, I don't recall the whole location. Then a blue screen came up saying that some sort of error occurred and I needed to shut down the computer so that no other harm could be done to it. Then I tried to reboot and now I can get to the windows screen it keeps shuting down automatically stating something like my virtue memory is too low. Can someone please help me with this issue?

    Hi rsmith005,
Your problem got skipped over because it's not such a usual one. Can you get into Safe Mode by hitting the F8 key during bootup? If so, please select safe mode and see if you can get to the desktop there. If you can, go to another computer and download Combofix onto a cd or flash drive and see if you can get it to run on the infected computer. The instructions and link are here:
