Viscious Blaster

I should know better, and I stand ready for any and all attacks that I deserve.

My PC is down hard with the Blaster, as far as I can tell, AV disabled can't start it, can't get to Safe mode, well pretty much everything disabled. Multiple TCP connections, Symnatec shows a Blaster variant in quarantine.

I stopped System Restore (XP SP2) and brought the firewall up.

Really hoping to prevent a total wipe of OS, but ready.

Attached is my MGTools log that ran without problems.

Welcome to Major Geeks!

Running MGtools and posting the MGlogs.zip file is the last part of the READ & RUN ME not the first. You need to run the other steps and attach the other requested logs first. Then you have to run MGtools again. Thus in effect, please start at the beginning and complete all steps in order per the below.

Please follow the instructions in the below link and attach the requested logs when you finish these instructions.
