Vista 64bit problem

    i have a gateway lx6810 with vista 64bit and every time i turn it on it goes str8 to system recovery options can any1 help me fix this.

    Hi

    Has this just happened or where you doing some repair to Windows?

    I would run the System Recovery Options and run from a command prompt chkdsk /r as you may have file corruption, and if that goes through ok and it boots again to SRO then do the Startup Repair.

    i have tryed system recovery from the command promnt at first it would just get stuck at the microsoft loading screen now it just goes str8 to system recovery i let it run and it says it can noot repair it and gateway does not give the recovery cd with the pc when u buy it i cant even boot in safe mode
