Vista and Regseeker question

    when i run regseeker every two days or so there is always at least 6 to 800 problems i delete them then do another scan two days after and the will be more erros why is this

    what reg cleaner should i be using with vista...

    Dont think Regseeker is 100% Vista compatible, but many apps are not especially registry cleaners and may not have access to delete what the initially scan for, why you ask.. well Vista's registry is bound by UAC to help block malware installing, so to help you get around UAC and not turn it off as you will loose a layer of security ( a pain it maybe clicking past UAC, its not too bad )

    Right Click Regseekers shortcut and choose Compatabiliy and tick the Run as Administrator box at the bottom, then try again.


    I find that CCleaner is fine with Vista, but it has the same issue, in that it needs to be run as an Admin, until the developers of these apps re-program then to run with Vista properly, without the need to run as Admin.
