I have a HP pavillion desktop that I am working on that is running Vista Premium. Recently the computer has started acting up. everytime I try to reboot the computer, it constantly reboots 2-3 seconds after showing the sign in screen. If I try to boot into safe mode, it restarts before getting into windows. Using disable restart with errors does not work either. The only option that is working for me right now is load last know good. I am in the process of running the tools and will post the results of the scans and hijackthis.
Some other notes, I have tried unchecking the reboot if error is encountered within windows, I have tried to dissable system restore too. Same results. I can not turn off User account control as it requires a reboot and, ...... well I explained that problem already. If there is something I need to do in the meantime. Please let me know.

I'm not sure I understand you message. Can you or can you not boot up into Windows? If you cannot get logged in, you should post in the Software Forum since your problem could be a registry corruption error or another issue within Windows.

If you can boot up, and want to check for malware, we will need to see the results from doing the below.

To check for malware, please follow the instructions in the below link and attach the requested logs when you finish these instructions. However, if you cannot turn off UAC, quite a bit of the below will not work especially MGtools. I tend to doubt your issues are malware anyway.

Your problems are not due to malware. I suggest that you post in the Software Forum. You do however need to uninstall AdwareAlert which Malwarebytes has started to remove some components of.

Also when you get your bootup issues resolved, you need to uninstall the below two old Sun Java versions and update to the current version as requested in the READ ME:

    Java(TM) 6 Update 3
    Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment 6 Update 1
