Vista driver errors...

Hi all,

Recently upgrade my laptop to a sony vaio 1.86 dual T2130, 1gb ram but with the vista!

I heard a lot of horror stories but felt it was just the same as when XP first came out, however have had a few driver issues.

It seems to have sorted now through a system restore, but is there any way of telling which drivers are causing the problems? When booting in normal mode I had just a black screen, but all was fine in safe mode. Thus managed to work out it was system32/drivers somewhere! By doing restore it has sorted it, but how can I avoid this in the future?

The best advice I could give you to at least start you off is visit http://www.driveragent.com and have it perform a free scan and see what drivers are out of date, and that might be able to at least start you off in the direction where you want to go. It might be worth it for you to pay the $30 for it to find the drivers and download all your outdated ones too.
