Vista/hard drive question.....

    What type of filing system does Vista use? Is it NTFS or some new kind of system we're gonna have to learn?? I haven't really spent any time w/ Vista, and a guy I know HATES it, and wants to wipe it out and re-install Win2000. I was just wondering if I'd run into any file system problems while doing this for him.....

    You'll be fine, just do a quick format from 2K (I assume it has that) and reinstall.

    I installed it on a really old 40gig IDE Hardrive NTFS quick formatted to test it out and it worked fine!
