VISTA HOME 64BIT SP2 won't install

    I have tried numerous times to download Vista Service Pack 2. Either I get a reply that the download "has timed out" or if I download the standalone version the download stops at either 22% or once I actually hit 92% !!!

    I have tried REMOVING my virus program, have defragged, done a complete PC virus scan and shut down all PROCESSES in TASK MANAGER. Still no luck!

    I can't download it from MICROSOFT WINDOWS UPDATES because for some reason or another, AUTOMATIC DOWNLOADS was deactivated. Help !!
