I purchased Vista Ultimate 64 Bit and prepared to install it. As expected it did not recognize my SATA drive for my hard drive and thus would not install.

My Mother board is a MSI p6n Diamond. I have tried to use the following downloads to install windows.

    http://global.msi.com.tw/index.php?func=driverfile&dno=5240&i=1

None have succeeded. At the moment my desktop is a very fashionable doorstop. Does anyone know why Vista refuses to recognize the drivers, and how to fix it, or where I can get the right ones if I have the wrong ones?

I downloaded them, put them on a flash drive as the instillation wizard suggested, and attempted to use them, but as far as the wizard is concerned none of them is compatible with my mother board and it won't use them. I really have no idea how to get it to work at this point.
