Vista is loading real slow upon logging in

I log in to my HP Pavilion desktop running Vista. It takes about 20 mins for everything to start up however I cannot do anything as far as selecting the internet or starting my Kaspersky Pure AV program. I have gone to safe mode with networking and it has allowed me to hop on the web but I still cannot run Kaspersky. I get a "Previous Application Launch Failed" error message. Any suggestions? I am a novice at this stuff so keep it simple.

 

Try the start up manager in this utility,Glary Utilities,just disable what you don;'t need to run at start up,,also you can clean all junk out if your system.http://majorgeeks.com/download.php?det=5870
