I have an asus f3jp laptop...its pretty damn nice BUT

In the center of the screen my mouse acts as if im not clicking or I am clicking outside of the window I am in...if I move the window I can click in the areas as long as it isn't in the center of the screen...what the hell?

    Any ideas?

I've used vista on several different computers (both labtops and desktops). So far, I haven't had that problem. Have you checked your manufacturer's website to see if someone else has reported the issue? Maybe it's something specific to their hardware, and they have a fix for it.

It was the windows desktop manager that was causing it just in case anyone else has a similar problem :)
