Vista Password Disable

    Is it possible to open a Vista OS without using a password each time? If yes, how would I set this up? I have heard conflicting opinion about whether it is advisable to eliminate the password step in Vista. (I just received a Vista- based laptop after using Windows XP for years without a password.)
