Might be over cautious here :D I have just tried to install Vista on same partition as XP but it appears I need to format the XP partition first,, thats OK , what I need to know is would I assume when Vista starts to install the usual F6 Sata drivers be asked for.. like the XP instalation??

Yes you will need the SATA drivers, at install but this time they do not need to be on floppy they can be on USB stick, CD, DVD or Portable HD.

Pop them on USB pen or another removable device and when installing Vista and it has a LOAD DRIVER option choose that and follow the prompts to install the Raid SATA Driver.

Thanx Halo as I said I didn't want to Format and then find out there was a different routine.. and I get a bonus here and that is that I keep my partition. Am also hoping that the Stripe will stay but may have to reset.. Shall post back for reference. ;)
