    Hello,

I am wondering if there is a way to make the Downloads folder display on the top right portion of the Start menu in Vista (note attachment)? I have not found any option to do so, and would like to.

    Thanks!

There isnt any good way to add custom folders to the right hand side of the start menu. There are registry hacks around that will replace one of the other items (music, documents, pictures) with the folder of your choice, but then other functionality that depends on those folders might fail.
You can however add a shortcut to the left hand side by dragging and dropping the download folder on top of the start button.

Well that sucks. I have it added to the right side already... it is just way more convenient when I think in my mind that I am going to a folder within my user folder, to look at the right side of the menu. I wonder why almost every other default folder is available, except for that one?

As to these registry hacks, what do you mean by
    ?

I would not mind replacing my Music folder with it, since I mostly access my music files from media players. What functionality could fail?

    Thanks for the response. :)
