Vista Taskbar Missing

I am running Vista Home Premium. Recently my taskbar disappeared. The autohide is not checked and taskbar cannot be dragged onto the desktop.Right clicking below desktop in area of former taskbar opens the usual window in the left hand lower corner,listing search, access to programs, etc.

I have deleted two registry keys and let them reinstall.

Running regcure and trojan remover did not fix the problem.

Can you elaborate on which registry keys you deleted? Have you done a lot of registry editing lately?

Does Safe Mode tend to display the same problem?
