I was running a Vista home upgrade, started the process with XP (SP2), and choice the upgrade option. Process finshed, and the tower reset like it was rebooting into the new OS, as is custom of vista. Then i rebooted into another install menu, and the final section as a 28%. There was a bit of lag then ERROR CODE 0XC0000005. I've seen that code before but it had to do with a RAM error i bealive, but this MOBO has 3 512 PNY sticks in it, and although its not fancy, it should be able to run it fine. Thanks for any help you can give.

i went back into xp and cleaned out the REG the best i could, and the next time i loaded vista the error didnt show up and stop the install. However, when i boot now, after the green bars come up (meaning vista is loading), the screen gos black for about 8mins, then attacks me with crazy white and blue scrambels. It looks a NES game with alot of dust in it. WTF i'm i suppose to do lol. the labetop passed all vista checks and it has decent hardware.

Xp (sp2) can upgrade to Vista home P. I do it several times a day. Thanks for the input though. (the chart can be found on wiki though.)
