    Hi.
I have a HP Compaq 6735s. Vista kept crashing on it. It wont boot from CD (I tried all the BIOS options). However the CD worked when the OS was on before. I tried returning it to factory defaults but this kept happening (2 images attached)! When I clicked OK on image 1, I was brought to the terminal in image 2.
What must I do to fix this?

Here is a picture of my boot options. I don't know why it says USB-CD Rom instead of just CD-Rom. Does anyone know why? Picture B is a picture of the default boot options.

Try this, hope it helps :

    1. Hit F10 to get to the Bios

    2. Change the settings of the SATA Device Mode to IDE.

    3. Choose "Upgrade Bay" as the first boot option.
