   I have a Toshiba lap top computer with windows vista installed. I could not get windows to update, nor could I get spybot or malware bytes to update.
   
   I reinstalled windows vista thinking that would take care of the problem but it did not. The error I recieve is Code 80244019. I've tried everything with no luck.

   Hi, this may or may not be malware related and although MBAM will not update, do try scanning with it anyway and have it fix anything it finds. Same with SUPERantispyware. Let us know. Could be that you have to move off into the malware removal section.

   I'd say head to the malware section because you have poisoned DNS and perhaps other malware.
