    I recently downloaded a Windows Vista from a legitiment site and paid for it.I downloaded it but cannot install it.Can you help me?

    What is the name of the site... to my knowledge no Microsoft operating systems are downloadable apart from their trial systems (Windows 8 comes to mind)? If you paid for it methinks you have been ripped off!

    MSDN offers downloads of OSes - MSDNAA definitely does. Both are official services from Microsoft.
