VMWARE Error. Had it worken for a week then it all went down hill.

I recently installed VMware On my computer. It worked for about a week. I had windows xp and windows 2003 server running on it. But once i installed Unbuntu i stated to recieve errors. It wouldnt load any of the operating systems. I also noticed that it now tells me that i have 0 bytes on a cd when I have a cd in the cd tray. However the 0 bytes thing isnt my issue that I need resolved. I deleted and uninstalled and got rid of every vmware file and folder on my computer. After that I reinstalled it and I still got errors. I installed a JPG attatchment of the exact error message I get. Does anyone have an experience with vmware or what this error message could be? I just wanted to be able to mess around with vmware cause im going to school for networking and security and would like to be able to start practicing on virtual machines.
