Volume displayer that works in games.

I don't have a keyboard supported on screen volume display so I'm trying to find a program that will display the volume in game when I change it using hotkeys. So far I found three programs that do display the volume, but don't work in game well. In game the bar comes up but flickers in so fast you cant see what it said. Heres the three I found:

Does anybody know of one that will work ingame? I know its possible because some like I said some keyboards have it, and then theres things like xfire that work ingame.
