    Help!

I have Voudo on my computer and it is causing me to have nightmares. I have a free eddition of Super Anti Sypware on my computer and it does take it off for a day but then it is right back on. I think the Super Anti Sypware gets off most maleware, adware and trojans but does the pay version get off Voudo? If not which one does. I don't know enought about getting the virus off manually

    Welcome to Major Geeks!

Please follow the instructions in the below link and attach the requested logs when you finish these instructions.

    • If something does not run, write down the info to explain to us later but keep on going.
    • Do not assume that because one step does not work that they all will not.
READ & RUN ME FIRST. Malware Removal Guide

    Notes:

    1. If you run into problems trying to run the READ & RUN ME or any of the scans in normal boot mode. You can running steps in safe boot mode but make sure you tell us what you did later when you post logs. See the below if you do not know how to boot in safe mode:
    2. If you have problems downloading on the problem PC, download the tools on another PC and burn to a CD. Then copy them to the problem PC. You will have to skip getting updates if (and only if) your internet connection does not work. Yes you could use a flash drive too but flash drives are writeable and infections can spread to them.

Thanks I did as you said and ran the software and the Voudo virus is not on my computer any longer. No more popups and the computer is running faster. I ran all the updates on Windows and have them set for every Sunday on updates.

The only problem I have now is when I start my computer and it goes to the desktop. I get a Rundell message that says three of my system 32 devices have not been found. I click the x over each one of them and I return to the deskop with no problems. Not sure if anything is wrong as all systems seem to be working properly. Could this be a problem in the future and can I restore any of the three system 32 devices that are not found. Since I am at work I don't have the list in front of my which system 32 device that pops up. When I get home later I can fire off an message on this board to tell you the exactly what I am referring to.

I can not answer your question as I have no idea what system files are missing. They very well may be files that were malware related. The only way I can determine that is if you attach the logs that were requested in the Read and Run First instructions.

Ok here are the files that come up when I turn on my computer. According to the message these files cannnot be found. These three files name come up in a white box and I just hit the x on the right side to close each one.
    c:\windows\system32\vewaboji.dll
    c:\windows\system32\yepogofa.dll
    c:\windows\system32\pubulasi.dll

I went to search to see if I can locate any of these three files. Nothing came up on any of them. I thought there may have been a restore for them somewhere in the system. None that I could find. But then again they maybe some kind of virus that was taken off when I followed the steps you gave me above.

I have Norton free anti sypware, Adware free scan, Trend Micro, and Super Antispyware on my computer the free version and I run all of the scans every two days. I also update my windows file and run updates are the rest of the items as well. At no time has the three system 32 items come up as a missing file on any scan.

My computer is running normaly at the present time. No popups, doesn't lock up, doesn't crash, and its not slow. Not sure what the system 32 items listed above do if anything. What do you think?

    Thanks
    Les

They are no doubt registry keys left over from the malware scans....but you may have to live with it since you are not doing what I asked of you in my previous message. :(
