    Ok, honestly I dont know what this is. I believe I picked it up dling survivor through a torrent. When I went to play it, my media player asked for a key. It tried to take me to a website, but my Forcefield browser protection blocked it. I thought dam and immediately scanned the file with maleware bytes and avast. Neither hit and I deleted the file.

    Soon after it installed window police pro or something like that and I ran maleware bytes and spybot search and destroy several times in normal and safe mode. Im pretty sure it hijacked spybot as several cmd windows open when I run it, so I have stopped using it.

    Then yesterday I came home from work and found it changed my wallpaper to a antivirus warning, crippled my desktop, turned off reg edit and locked me out of task manager. I ran malware bytes to restore everything and downloaded avg (a friend recommended it) onto another comp and transferred. I tried to get into safe mode to run it but my comp rebooted and wouldnt allow it.

    Also, the times I did a root clean with avast, my video came back up in 4 bit and took forever to restore.

    Anyway, I know when Im beat and hope some of you all can help with this. In the past Ive formatted when I couldnt fix a virus, but Ive got alot of stuff I really dont want to lose.

    Im not trying to bump my thread or anything but I managed to get my comp in safe mode and run AVG. Included is the log from that which indicates this is a SHeur2 bug.

    Im looking through the forums now trying to find a solution, but if anyone has checked my logs or can help, please let me know.

    Thanks alot guys.

    First thing you need to do is to disable Teatimer as you were instructed to do:
    * Run Spybot and click Mode
    * Select Advanced Mode.
    * Then click Tools and select Resident.
    * Now in the right window pane, uncheck TeaTimer.
    * Also while this is open, in the left column now select IE Tweaks
    * and then in the right pane make sure all the Miscellaneous locks are unchecked.
    * Now quit Spybot!

    Can I assume that you had MBAM fix the items it found??

    Please disable all anti-virus and anti-spyware programs while we do the following (re-enable when you are finished):

    Run C:\MGtools\analyse.exe by double clicking on it (Note: if using Vista, don't double click, use right click and select Run As Administrator). This is really HijackThis (select Do a system scan only) and select the following lines but DO NOT CLICK FIX until you exit all browser sessions including the one you are reading in right now:
    NOTE: HJT may popup an error about the AppInit_DLLs line. Ignore it and click OK to continue.

    After clicking Fix, exit HJT.

    Now Copy the bold text below to notepad. Save it as fixME.reg to your desktop. Be sure the "Save as" type is set to "all files" Once you have saved it double click it and allow it to merge with the registry.
    Make sure that you tell me if you receive a success message about adding the above
    to the registry. If you do not get a success message, it definitely did not work.

    * Make sure that combofix.exe that you downloaded while doing the READ & RUN ME is on your Desktop but Do not run it!
    If it is not on your Desktop, the below will not work.
    * Also make sure you have shut down all protection software (antivirus, antispyware...etc) or they may get in the way of allowing ComboFix to run properly.
    * If ComboFix tells you it needs to update to a new version, make sure you allow it to update.
    * Open Notepad and copy/paste the text in the below code box into it (make sure you scroll all the way down in the code box to get all lines selected ):
    Code:
    KILLALL::

    Driver::
    kkuyhixbmskcoav
    AntipPolice_

    File::
    C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\18027184

    C:\cibwemri.exe
    C:\ddmishqi.exe
    C:\hempabtn.exe
    C:\wuun.exe

    C:\WINDOWS\system32\aduzida.dll

    * Save the above as CFscript.txt and make sure you save it to the same location (should be on your Desktop) as ComboFix.exe
    * At this point, you MUST EXIT ALL BROWSERS NOW before continuing!
    * You should have both the ComboFix.exe and CFScript.txt icons on your Desktop.
    If it asks you to overide the prvevious file with the same name, click YES.
    * Now use your mouse to drag CFscript.txt on top of ComboFix.exe
    http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v666/sUBs/CFScriptB-4.gif
    * Follow the prompts.
    * When it finishes, a log will be produced named c:\combofix.txt
    * I will ask for this log below

    Note:

    Do not mouseclick combofix's window while it is running. That may cause it to stall.

    Now run the C:\MGtools\GetLogs.bat file by double clicking on it (Note: if using Vista, don't double click, use right click and select Run As Administrator).

    Then attach the below logs:

    * C:\ComboFix.txt
    * C:\MGlogs.zip

    Make sure you tell me how things are working now!

    Ok, I uninstalled spybot all together as I believe it was infected. I thought I had killed teatimer the first time I did the scans. :-o

    Yes mbam fixed everything, I guess I saved the log too soon. As a side note, I havent had any symptoms since the avg safe mode scan.

    I ran mgtools system scan only but it didnt save a log. The only thing that was left on there from your list was O23 - Service: AntiPol (AntipPolice_) - Unknown owner - C:\WINDOWS\svchast.exe (file missing). I fixed it but didnt know how to get it to save the file you need.

    The regedit didnt work. The error reported that the "specified file is not a registry script. You can only import binary registry files from within the registry editor."

    Combofix ran and I am including the logfile.

    Did you save the regiestry patch as fixME.reg to your desktop and made sure the "Save as" type is set to "all files"?

    You also forgot to:
    Now run the C:\MGtools\GetLogs.bat file by double clicking on it (Note: if using Vista, don't double click, use right click and select Run As Administrator). And attach the C:]MGLogs.zip.
