    I've had Vundo before on another computer, I was just getting pesky pop ups on this one but explorer hadn't crashed on me yet like before. I ran Malware Bytes which seemed to trigger the issue with explorer. I booted it into safe mode and ran combofix which resolved the issue, I just wanted to make sure the virus is completely eliminated. Could somebody review my log to make sure everything looks good?

    Hi there could you please make sure that if possible you run scans in normal boot mode, I need to see logs from the following:

    • SUPERantispyware
    • Malware Bytes
    • MGlogs.zip

    Soon as I have seen all the logs I can get back to you with a set of instructions.

    Thanks
    Kes

    I do aologise, your thread had to be approved and I did not know you had dropped logs until now. I'll get to work on them and give you a set of instructions asap. (I would still like to see a log from MBAM please)

    Thanks

    Before we continue with the below you must ensure that this machine is in normal start-up mode as requested in the R&R:

    Use MSconfig to setup for Normal Startup Mode

    To prevent files like this from littering your C drive:

    • sqmnoopt12.sqm

    --Open up WLM and under Tools > options and on the "General" Tab uncheck the option to be a part of the Quality Improvement Program.

    1) Please disable all anti-virus and anti-spyware programs while we do the following (re-enable when you are finished):

    Run C:\MGtools\analyse.exe by double clicking on it (Note: if using Vista, don't double click, use right click and select Run As Administrator). This is really HijackThis (select Do a system scan only) and select the following lines but DO NOT CLICK FIX until you exit all browser sessions including the one you are reading in right now:

    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [lodezojara] Rundll32.exe "C:\WINDOWS\system32\lehuguwe.dll",s
    O4 - HKUS\S-1-5-19\..\Run: [lodezojara] Rundll32.exe "C:\WINDOWS\system32\lehuguwe.dll",s (User 'LOCAL SERVICE')
    O4 - HKUS\S-1-5-20\..\Run: [lodezojara] Rundll32.exe "C:\WINDOWS\system32\lehuguwe.dll",s (User 'NETWORK SERVICE')
    O20 - AppInit_DLLs: C:\WINDOWS\system32\tilafago.dll

    NOTE: HJT may popup an error about the AppInit_DLLs line. Ignore it and click OK to continue.

    After clicking Fix exit HJT

    2) Now we need to use ComboFix to remove a bunch of malware files.

    • Make sure that combofix.exe that you downloaded while doing the READ & RUN ME is on your Desktop but Do not run it!
    • If it is not on your Desktop, the below will not work.
    • Open Notepad and copy/paste the text in the below code box into it
    (make sure you scroll all the way down in the code box to get all lines selected ):
    Code:

    KILLALL::

    File::
    c:\windows\system32\visutime.dll
    c:\windows\system32\rudadiza.dll
    c:\windows\system32\eiakzc.dll
    c:\windows\system32\diheweru.dll
    c:\windows\system32\rejanote.dll
    c:\windows\system32\oreminop.ini
    c:\windows\system32\omgaou.dll
    c:\windows\system32\dabuloje.dll
    c:\windows\system32\kokiguto.dll
    c:\windows\system32\merowaka.dll
    c:\windows\system32\bimevopa.dll
    c:\windows\system32\deditami.dll
    c:\windows\system32\dunumeda.dll
    C:\WINDOWS\System32\badaliyo.dll
    C:\WINDOWS\System32\hfqogs.dll
    C:\WINDOWS\System32\jufkas.dll
    C:\WINDOWS\System32\kokiguto.dll
    C:\WINDOWS\System32\rivenape.dll
    C:\WINDOWS\System32\rudadiza.dll
    C:\WINDOWS\System32\todomeko.dll
    C:\WINDOWS\System32\yuvayudu.dll
    c:\windows\system32\tilafago.dll
    C:\WINDOWS\system32\lehuguwe.dll

    Registry::
    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run]
    "CPM2beac095"=-
    "28d9f309"=-
    "lodezojara"=-
    [hkey_local_machine\software\microsoft\windows\currentversion\explorer\SharedTaskScheduler]
    "{EC43E3FD-5C60-46a6-97D7-E0B85DBDD6C4}"=-

    • Save the above as CFscript.txt and make sure you save it to the same location (should be on your Desktop) as ComboFix.exe
    • At this point, you MUST EXIT ALL BROWSERS NOW before continuing!
    • You should have both the ComboFix.exe and CFScript.txt icons on your Desktop.
    • Now use your mouse to drag CFscript.txt on top of ComboFix.exe

    • Follow the prompts.
    • When it finishes, a log will be produced named c:\combofix.txt
    • I will ask for this log below

    Note:

    Do not mouseclick combofix's window while it is running. That may cause it to stall.

    3) Now Run Ccleaner!

    4) Now run the C:\MGtools\GetLogs.bat file by double clicking on it. Then attach the new C:\MGlogs.zip file that will be created by running this and also attach the log from Combofix and also you log from MBAM.

    5) Let us know of any problems you may have encountered with the above instructions and also let me know how things are running now.

    Thanks
    Kestrel13!
