VX2 will not die !!

    Can someone please offer some advice on how I can remove the VX2 virus.

    I have tried Adaware, Spybot S&D, Norton, Spyhunter, VX2 cleaner , Pocket Killbox and all to no avail as yet.

    I have now run L2meFix and have the logfiles if anyone can use them to help me out.

    This variant keeps randomly generating a DLL file in the Windows\System32 folder, so even if I delete on reboot another DLL file appears.

    As I type this thread I have been redirected to 3 different web pages by this **** virus

    You would better off dumping Spyhunter. It has long been on a rogue spyware removal tool list. It is now no longer a rogue but it cannot be recommended because of its mediocre performance as an anti-spyware scanner.

    If you are having problems with the latest form of Look 2 Me VX2, give the below a try:

    Spy Sweeper

    Run it once in normal boot mode and then reboot into safe mode and run it again.
