W10 Problem.. R Clicking Photo File Icons No Longer Displays Option Drop Down Menu

    Right clicking any PHOTO file icons no longer displays the dropdown menu with options.
    The r click works fine with video file icons
    delete, copy, share, open with, etc.
    but instead returns me to my PC desktop

    Can someone please advise how to fix this problem?

    Windows ver 20H2

    It's a minor system error. Right click Start and click Command Prompt or Windows Power Shell and type sfc /scannow and Enter. The space after sfc is required.

    As always, thank you for your help. Unfortunately it did not help....any other recommendations?
    I have not been able to find anything on this quirk by using google. It seems this glitch is extremely rare:(
