W3 Schools question

Do you recommend their exams to get certified? Do large business take their cert's serious? It seems like a very cool site, but I have been ripped off once going to some unaccredited trade school and dont want to make the same mistake. Any info is appriciated, thanks

 

Any learning is good for your career, but employers like to see diplomas, certificates and the documentation that verifies your acquired knowledge. If the site has been around for a while, Google it, and let other people's experiences guide you. My personal choice is a formal classroom setting, in a 'bricks and mortar' establishment. I find it easier to deal with actual people when it comes time to get the documents that the employer needs.

 

Yeah I guess a cert that comes from a site you can take the exam online (which makes it very easy to cheat) may not hold too much weight in a job position. Onto getting my comp tia A+ , do you or anybody else know of some good free learning sites with practice exams for the A+? (current ones?) I found a site but it seemed to be outdated.
