    Hello Chaslang,

I've received a new laptop from the office, I don't know why it seemed so slow to start when I brought it home with me.

Talk about 5 minutes before explorer starts up.

I wonder if there are some things I might need to do.

    Thanks and Regards,

    chuboy

MG Logs and Sophos Logs which might be of help too.

    Thanks

Most slow PC issues are not from malware. They are more frequently due to hardware specs and or what software is being used. And the latter is your problem. YOu have all of the below loading at start up and that is what cause startup time to be so long:

If you wish to speed things up, you will need to figure out which you do not need and uninstall the software. Since this is a company PC, you are probably stuck with a pile of junk that they require and will have to live with it. Any additional questions about this belong in the Software Forum since this is not malware. You could just stop the FREE versions of MBAM and SAS from loading at startup which will at least remove a couple items.
